Follow these 10 steps to make your hair soft, smooth and silky
Step 1: Cleanse the correct way.
First things first. It’s important to use sulfate and paraben free shampoo. These ingredients tend to dry out the scalp, which will result in dry strands. We recommend using our Replenishing Hair Cleanser any time you wash your hair. This cleanser promotes healthy hair growth and leaves hair soft, silky, and full of shine. It’s completely sulfate and paraben free (also cruelty free, gluten free, and a lot of other -frees.) Quick tip: You should only be cleansing your scalp, never mid shaft to the ends directly. Doing this will leave your hair feeling dull.
Step 2: Rinse with cold water.
When you wash your face with warm water, it opens up your pores. The same goes for your scalp, but swap pores for cuticles. It’s important that after taking a steamy hot shower, you give your hair a shock of cool water to seal your cuticles and prevent frizz.
Step 3: Swap out your normal conditioner.
To get smooth hair, you need to invest in a good deep conditioner or hair mask instead of solely relying on your normal conditioner. Step 4: Use a microfiber towel or shirt to dry.
Bath towels can be extremely rough and drying to the hair, especialy if you’re doing it aggressively. Avoid this by using a microfiber towel or soft T-shirt. Scrunch, pat or wrap your hair with these options to avoid frizziness.
Step 5: Sleep on a silk pillowcase.
Using a cotton pillowcase will absorb the oils from your hair resulting in frizzy texture in the morning. If you want to prevent this, try out a silk pillowcase. It will cause less friction, making your hair even smoother than before.
Step 6: Be careful when you brush and comb.

Step 7: Include healthy fats to your diet.
Eating healthy fats will help you achieve shiny hair. Some examples are avocados, nuts, salmon, and fatty fish. These foods will keep your scalp hydrated so that natural oils can come through.
Step 8: Get ends trimmed frequently.
If you don’t get your hair trimmed regularly, you will develop split ends. Split ends are extremely noticeable. You will never be able to achieve shiny, silky locks unless you get them trimmed. We recommend getting a trim every 4-6 weeks.

Step 9: Drink plenty of water.
Hydration is KEY. Make sure you’re drinking enough water throughout the day because it will show through your hair. Drinking at least five glasses of water a day is recommended.
